Qaiser stresses for developing consensus before taking action against PTI


ISLAMABAD, Jul 25 (APP):Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh on Thursday stressed the need for developing consensus of political parties before taking action against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
PTI supporters had found involved in attacks on security institutions during May 9 riots, and punishment should be given to them as per law of this country, he said while talking to PTV.
The incident reported on May 9,  was a serious offense and condemnable act committed by PTI, he said.
Commenting on ban against PTI on the basis of May 9 vandalism, he said that the decision should be taken at the forum of higher judiciary and for this, the cabinet will prepare a document on the basis of solid evidence.
